Cannot start a download in IDM. An error occurs on download start.
How to configure Avira Internet Security to work with Internet Download Manager (IDM)
1. Run Avira Internet Security
2. Select "Avira FireWall" in the left column, then press on "Configuration" button in the right window.
3. Select “Application rules" in new window on the left, find Internet Download Manager (IDM) in the list on the right and select it. Click on "Deny" text next to IDM in Action column.
4. Make sure that it changed to "Allow", and press on "OK" button.
After that IDM will start downloading normally.
After IDM update you may see the following message from Avira firewall:
You need to press on "Allow" button. If you have pressed on "Deny" by mistake, IDM will not be able to download, and you need to repeat these all the steps above from the beginning.
